PERMITS & LICENCES
Permit and licence application support
We begin by identifying foreign-investment restrictions, permits and notification requirements in relation to the business activities, ownership structure and location. We then organise the necessary procedures and support application preparation and processing.
- Construction permits and Building Completion Certificates (BCC)
- Business licences issued by YCDC and other relevant authorities
- Alcohol sales licences
- Retail and wholesale licences
- MIC permits and endorsements
- Other sector licences, including microfinance, administered by the responsible ministries
Requirements and the responsible authority are checked against the rules applicable at the time of application and the specific activities of the business.
BUSINESS VISITS
Business visits and local arrangements

We combine business introductions, appointments, local assistance and seminars around the purpose of your visit to Myanmar. Visits can be designed for initial information gathering or specific business discussions, according to your preferred themes and schedule.
INTERPRETATION & LOCAL REPRESENTATION
Interpretation, translation and representative-office support
Interpretation and document translation in Japanese, Myanmar and English, among other languages
When it is difficult to assign your own expatriate staff during research or the initial operating period, we support local administration and reporting to your head office.
- Meeting arrangements and materials for visiting executives and staff; visa, vehicle, interpreter, flight and hotel arrangements
- Company registration, permits, recruitment and office-site selection; some activities are charged separately
- Monitoring of HR and accounting matters in operations managed by local staff
- Consultation on appointing an outside director as part of corporate-governance arrangements
- Reporting to head office on regulatory changes, relevant official appointments and industry developments
- Acting as a point of contact for discussions with business partners and counterparties
