Functions and Duties

The functions and duties of the Mayor's Office Department are as follows:

1. To carry out the executive and administrative functions of the Committee.
2. To manage administrative and logistical matters
3. To prepare, distribute, and maintain records and minutes of Committee meetings.
4. To coordinate and submit policy matters prescribed by higher-level organizations and matters requiring submission from the Committee to higher authorities.
5. To arrange and facilitate meetings and discussions with ambassadors accredited to Myanmar, foreign guests, and representatives of international organizations.
6. To supervise the issuance of laws, rules, regulations, procedures, orders, and directives.
7. To oversee personnel and human resource affairs of the Mayor's Office.
8. To coordinate and communicate between the Committee, departments, and Township Municipal Administration Offices.
9. To manage matters relating to overseas study tours, meetings, workshops, seminars, and training programs.
10. To perform duties assigned by the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Secretary, Joint Secretary (Department Head), and Committee Members.
